Everybody (Backstreets Back) is released everywhere outside of the United States and quickly begins a steady climb up the charts everywhere.

August 12th - Backstreet Boys hold the launch of their US debut album at All Star Cafe in Times Square.  The album goes on to sell nearly nine million copies in the U.S.A. and become the number 3 album of the year.



August 22nd - The boys perform in Hannover, Germany.
